EXPRESS STRETCH WINNING STREAK WITH VICTORY AGAINST BUSOGA UNITED
Express FC earned a third consecutive victory when they edged Busoga United 1-0 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at Kakindu Stadium on Wednesday.

Coming into Wednesday’s game, the Red Eagles had defeated Onduparaka FC and BUL FC in the previous two outings. Forward Allan Kayiwa was at it again as netting the all important goal from a well taken free kick in the 87th minute.

This took his tally to five goals in seven games and he is the current leading goal scorer in the league. However, there was violence in time added on caused by the Busoga fans and it required police intervention with teargas. The added five minutes were not played and the final decision was made in favour of the seven-time champions taking their deserved three points.

Victory took Express to the third position on the 15-team SUPL log with 14 points after seven games.
James Odoch’s charges will return to action on Tuesday, November 22nd against Soltilo Bright Stars FC at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
