The moment of truth has finally arrived, atleast for Express FC as they prepare to face Malawian outfit Nyasa Big Bullets FC on Saturday 14th August in the CECAFA Kagame Cup final at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar-es-Saalam, Tanzania.

The Red Eagles who are making their third final, second on Tanzanian soil are hoping to break the jinx and win their maiden CECAFA club title having made two finals previously and lost on both occasions.

Winger Godfrey Lwesibawa is not available for selection because he is down with fever.

The rest of the players are available, no suspensions.

Express FC have reached the Kagame Cup final twice (1994,1995) and lost on both occasions.
Express FC have scored the most goals at the CECAFA Kagame Cup (7) conceding only three in the four games played.

Nyasa Big Bullets FC are playing in the CECAFA Kagame Cup for the first time and have won the Malawian top flight league 14 times.
Both sides are unbeaten in the competition.

We’ve prepared well for the game, we played Big Bullets in the group stage so we have an idea about their style of play and like I’ve been saying, we want to win the Kagame cup and we shall do everything possible on Saturday to win”.
