THREE RED EAGLES JOIN CRANES CAMP AHEAD OF TANZANIA FRIENDLY.

 

Express FC will have three players on the Uganda Cranes squad summoned to feature in an international friendly against the Taifa Stars which has been organized to mark Tanzania’s 60 years of independence.

Goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa, winger Joseph Akandwanaho and holding midfieilder John Byamukama who have already linked up with the rest of the Cranes squad ahead of the fixture set to take place on Thursday 9th December at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar-es-Saalam are part of an 18 man locally based sqaud.

Uganda Cranes head coach Multin Micho Sredejovic stated that the friendly is geared towards preparing for the upcoming CHAN qualification campaign.

“We have started preparations for the qualification campaign of CHAN 2022 in Algeria. This gives us the opportunity to widen the pool of players,” Micho told the Fufa website.
