
THE YELLOW CARD EXPRESS FC PLAYER OF THE MONTH: GEORGE SENKAABA SCOOPS JANUARY AWARD.
Forward George Senkaaba has been voted the Yellowcard Express FC player of the month for January.
The 28 year old beat teammates in winger Martin Kizza and versatile defender Deus Bukenya to the award following the fans’ voting on the club’s social media pages.

Senkaaba who picks his first monthly award polled 49% of the total vote while Martin Kizza followed with 32% and Deus Bukenya managed 19%. “Junior Agogo” featured in all the three games played in January, two in the league and one in the domestic cup.
Senkaaba managed two goals and two assists in the three games across all competitions. He scored against Soltilo Bright Stars FC in the league but also scored and assisted in the Stanbic Uganda Cup 3-0 win away against PCCP FC as the Red Eagles progressed to the round of 32.
SENKAABA’S REACTION.
“I am so glad that I’ve won the January monthly award. It’s been a tough fight from last season when i got injured, i spent alot of time out but i never gave up and this award explains the commitment i had as i tried to return to my best. I also want to thank the technical team, the backroom staff, my fellow players and the fans who have enabled me get this award, I’ll do my best to work harder and help the team defend the league and win more titles”.

The Red Eagles resume their title defence when matchday 16 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League gets underway on Monday 7th February away to Soltilo Bright Stars FC and George Senkaaba will be expected to provide the fire power upfront for Wasswa Bbosa’s charges.
