The former Express Fc U17s captain has joined the red eagles on a permanent deal that will see him stay at the club for the next three seasons.

The Kyadondo Ssaza captain who already has two goals to his name in the on going masaza cup competitions joined the red eaglets in 2018/19 season. Shugai also represented Uganda in Rwanda – 2020 CECAFA U17 competition which the team won.

“I am privileged to join the senior team.To me it’s a dream come true and that means putting in all the hard work. I am readily available and I will give my all.To the fans, I will give in my best to score the goals and win more trophies too.”

Shungai told the club website.

“He (Kaliisa) is a young talented player that is capable of playing at this big stage (Startimes uganda Premier League). I have seen him Captain the Kyadondo Ssaza Side and surely we will need a Leader for the future!.”

Kaliisa Joins his former U17s Red Eaglets team mates Hassan Mubiru and Goal keeper David Lukwago. Everyone at the club wishes the youngster the best of his stay with the RedEagles.
