Odur Injury Scare as Express draw 0-0 With Maroons

Experienced striker who is returning to the club for another spell didn’t finish the game after a knee collision with a Maroons defender as teams met for a preseason friendly at Wankulukuku.

Odur was subject to many knocks and kept complaining to the referee until the 80th minute when his knee was caught and was stretchered off in pain.

With the season set to start on the 28th Coach Kefa Kisala wasn’t happy with what happened to his star striker and had this to say.

“The season is just around the corner and we need him with out a doubt as fast as we can. We shall take him tomorrow for further medicals and see what the problem really is. I can’t say he was targeted because this is just a friendly but he has received many fouls from a similar defender. He is a striker with a lot of experience and that is what we need to win games so we need to give him special treatment to have him back very fast. We are lucky no problem with the born or knee alignment its just the muscle paining according to the doctor’s diagnosis so he won’t be out for so long.”

More details about his injury will be out later after the check ups.
