MATCH REPORT: EXPRESS FC PICK A POINT AWAY AT SOLTILO BRIGHT STARS FC.
Express FC managed a point away to Soltilo Bright Stars FC on their Matchday 16 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at Kavumba Recreation Grounds on Monday evening.
The first half didn’t have alot to write home about but Soltilo Bright Stars FC contained the visitors that’s for sure.

After recess, six minutes into the game forward George Senkaaba was about to repeat his trait of scoring against Bright Stars but his effort, one on one with the Goalkeeper was thwarted out for a corner by Simon Tamale.

The hosts then also almost took the lead in the 61st minute when forward Emmanuel Loki broke free past Murushid Juuko but his effort hit the woodwork, bounced back into play but was headed over the bar.
Old boy Joseph Akandwanaho was then replaced by the hard working Enock Ssebagala but the change wasn’t enough to spur the Red Eagles to pick maximum points away from home. The draw takes Express FC to 28 points and keeps them in 5th position after 16 games played.

“We came here to earn maximum points but we didn’t accomplish that, we didn’t create many chances and that’s what we’re going home to work on ahead of our next game on Friday. We should be able to create and convert more in games”.
