Express FC shift their attention to the Stanbic Uganda Cup when they face BUL FC on Thursday afternoon at the FUFA technical center in Njeru.

The Red Eagles are bidding to reach their first Uganda Cup final in fourteen years and also try to win the domestic title for an 11th time.

Express FC are expected to dust themselves up from their brief continental show after bowing out on away goals rule against Sudan’s Al-Merrikh on Sunday 19th September.

Winger Godfrey Lwesibawa is unavailable for selection due to a knee injury.

The rest of the players are available for selection and there are no suspensions.

MATCH STATS.

This will be the 17th meeting between both sides with the Red Eagles managing four wins compared to BUL FC’s seven with five draws between them.

Express FC beat BUL FC 4-0 in their only league meeting last season at Bugembe stadium.

This will be the first meeting between both sides in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
