League and CECAFA Kagame Cup champions Express FC kick start their charge for a record 11th domestic cup when they play away to fourth division side PCCP FC on Friday evening at the MTN Omondi stadium in Lugogo.

The Red Eagles who have been in a break are targeting to advance to the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32.

MATCH STATS.

This will be the first meeting between both sides in any competition.

The Red Eagles have won the Stanbic Uganda cup 10 times, equal with KCCA FC on the number of domestic titles won.

The Red Eagles last won the Uganda Cup in the 2006/07 season.

TEAM NEWS.

Team captain Enock Walusimbi and winger Martin Kizza are not available due to national team duty.

Midfielder Abel Etrude returns from a long injury layoff while Arthur Kiggundu requires to pass a late fitness test.

The team has no suspensions and the rest of the players are available for selection.
