MATCH PREVIEW: EXPRESS FC TRAVEL AWAY TO MBARARA CITY FC.

League and CECAFA Kagame Cup champions Express FC return to league action on Friday away in Mbarara when they face the Ankole Lions in an early kickoff at Kakyeeka Stadium.

James Odoch’s charges are looking for their first league win in 8 outings across all competitions.

This will be the eighth meeting between both sides with the Red Eagles managing two wins to Mbarara City FC’s two with three draws between both sides in as many games.

The Red Eagles won the last meeting 2-0 at the Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.

Both teams shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw the last time they met at Kakyeeka stadium.

“We’ve concluded our last training ahead of our away game against Mbarara City FC. Majorly we’ve been working on our finishing, we’ve been playing well and dominating but couldn’t finish so these past two days we’ve concentrated on scoring and i think if we score one or two goals we shall be able to win the game”.

“We’ve done our last training before we travel to Mbarara City FC, we’ve worked on all our flaws and we want to win, we’ve been playing well but not winning however according to how we’ve prepared I believe we should be able to earn maximum points.
