MATCH PREVIEW: EXPRESS FC OUT TO STOP KMKM TO REACH CECAFA KAGAME CUP FINAL.

Express FC are two games away from winning the CECAFA Kagame Cup for the first time ever In club’s history but first on the menu is a semi-final clash against Zanzibari side KMKM on Tuesday evening at the Azam Complex Chamazi in Dar-es-Saalam Tanzania.

The Red Eagles reached the penultimate stage of the club showpiece after topping group A on 7 points and unbeaten after three match days.

Winger Godfrey Lwesibawa is suspended after accumulating two yellow cards.

Assistant captain Abel Etrude returns from suspension and is available for selection.

Express FC are playing at the CECAFA Kagame Cup semi-finals for the first time since 1995 scoring five goals in the process.

KMKM are making the Kagame Cup semi-finals for the very first time after finishing second in group B.

Express FC have conceded two goals enroute to the semi-finals while KMKM have leaked in two more.

“We are ready for the semifinals matchup against KMKM of Zanzibar, they are a good team and focused but the most important thing is that we’re also focused and we want to win so that we reach the finals. The level at which we are playing is changing per game we are becoming more match fit and confident. So we hope it will help us even in Kampala when we go to face BUL FC in the semifinals of the Uganda Cup. We shall take confidence and belief so that we win that game and qualify for the finals.”

Now we are in the semifinals we came with our target to handle game by game which we have managed well so far, so tomorrow we are well organized from the defense to attack.
