Express Football Club is delighted to announce that Isa “Mzee” Lumu has signed a two year contract extension with the Red Eagles.

The center back, who has been on the books of Express Fc since the season of 2018/2019 just over four years ago, has committed his immediate future to the Club.

“I’m delighted to sign an extension here at Express Football Club, once the talks started, there was only ever going to be one outcome and it was the easiest decision I’ve ever made, to commit my future to this football club and continue on this unbelievable journey. The years I’ve been here so far have flown by, when people say how long it is, I really can’t believe it! For me though, it’s always been about being at Express and being a part of this Club, for now and for the future, that’s why I wanted to commit – to really show my loyalty to my team, to my Club and to everybody who has helped me along the way so far.”

Isa Lumu told the club website.

James Odoch the new manager is positive about his (Lumu) renewal as he will work as the pivot to build a future.

“We’re absolutely thrilled that Lumu has committed himself to this club for another two years. He is one of the game’s brightest center backs thus an absolute pleasure to work with him (Lumu) we can’t wait to see what the next couple of years hold for us as a team and him as a player.”
