I AM TAKING IT ONE GAME AT A TIME – GEORGE SENKAABA.

Express FC forward George Senkaaba is not usual talkative character, always reserving his opinion unless far pressed.

The powerful point man has had a quiet start to the league largely due to his recovery from a tendon injury that dates as far back as March last season when he got injured in the league game away to Kitara FC but Senkaaba insists he’s taking it a game at a time.

“It’s been a rollercoaster for me, I had to deal with recovering from the injury yet I had hit peak form at the that time in the season but all that is now in the past and I’ve slowly recovered my mojo. The Kagame Cup helped boost my confidence alot so I can’t complain about my start to the new season because I am taking it a game at a time” He said before adding that going forward the target is to keep scoring.

George Senkaaba smiles after beating his injury woes to join the squad in Dar-es-Saalam for CECAFA Kagame Cup.

“I have to keep scoring, of course my teammates and the technical team have helped me alot and I hope it continues, the goal against Police FC was just perfect timing so let’s see what comes on Saturday but we’re all ready to earn maximum points in the derby” he concluded.

“Junior Agogo” managed six league goals last season before he was cut short with the injury, he also played a pivotal role as Express FC picked up their first ever CECAFA Kagame Cup title in Dar-es-Saalam, Tanzania in August this year.
