I AM OPTIMISTIC ABOUT HITTING DOUBLE FIGURES IN THE SECOND ROUND – ERICK KAMBALE.

Erick Kenzo Kambale is a name that has been mentioned more often in past months not for the wrong reasons but for scoring goals.

The 21-year-old who has had a quiet start to the first round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League says he is optimistic about reaching double figures when the second round gets underway.

“I know I didn’t have a great start to the season like I expected to, partly because of fatigue because we had a long draining season but I am happy I’ve managed to score some so far. It motivates me more and I am optimistic I’ll hit double figures when we resume from next month.” He said before adding the team still has the target of defending the league although we will have to dig deep.

“We all know we need to defend the league but as you now know, all teams are well prepared and we shall have to dig deep but I am confident the boys’ resilience will see us through”.
