Kusiima who has managed three appearances across all competitions this season along with a Pilsner MOTM award and a clean sheet says he is focused on continuing with his good performances whenever he gets the opportunity.

“Firstly I am overwhelmed with the support i got from everyone after the derby win and I am thankful because I went in there to do my best and I am happy we won and I also had a good individual display. I want to continue this performance at every opportunity I get, credit to the G.K coach and my fellow G.Ks because we learn from each other in every training session”.

He stressed before adding that winning against Villa was sweet revenge since he was in goal when the Red Eagles lost in penalties in the cup.
“I was in goal during the cup game which went into penalties and even though I gave my best we lost in penalties so the derby win means alot because I re-paid the faith” he concluded.

Kusiima picked up his first clean sheet this season in his first game, away to Tooro United FC, he then kept goal against S.C Villa in the Uganda Cup and but it was the recent away win against Villa where Kusiima earned his money, making important saves to keep his side in the lead and eventually winning 2-1.
