Express FC Report Back For Training Ahead Of League Resumption.

The Express FC squad has reported back to Wankulukuku as they step up preparations for the league resumption in February.

Head coach Wasswa Bossa along with his assistants in James Odoch, Daniel Kiwanuka the Goalkeeping coach, Helen Buteme the strength and conditioning coach took the players through light paces with Bossa insisting the boys will get their mojo back in due course.

Frank Ssenyondo takes on Derrick Ndahiro at Wankulukulu last month. The winger is back in training with the group.

“We’re glad everyone has returned safely, we carried out our Covid-19 tests on Monday and we’re glad everyone is negative because it means we have a full squad to ourselves save for the injuries” He stated.

About the players getting thier fitness back on time, Bossa added that it will take a bit of time.

George Senkaaba back at Wankulukulu to sharpen his skills after the match-winner against S.C Villa.

“We’ve started lightly but we shall step it up in due course, the boys will be ready by Feburary make no mistake about that” he concluded.

The Red Eagles who sit sixth on the 16 team log with eight points still unbeaten are focusing on high flying URA who will be their next opposition when the league resumes.
