Express U19 v Bright Stars U19 Preview | The Red Eaglets Target First Home Win
Express JT v Bright Stars JT | Sunday 11th November | The Betway Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku | Kick off 4pm
The Eaglets have won only one game this season and away at Nyamityobora JT a side they beat 1-0 at Kakyeeka despite being 10 men for over 30 minutes. Youngster Ismael Sebandeke was the hero after coming on for injured Moses Bayo.
The boys will be back in action on Sunday at the newly christened Betway Mutesa II Stadium a home to the senior team and they will be expected to gear up and give an expected moderate crowd joy on Sunday.
The boys are now 6th in the Hat trick group table with 5 points, 1 win, 3 draws and 1 loss. They are unbeaten away from home recently they traveled to Bishop SS Mukono to play against Tooro United and came back home with a point after a hard fought 0-0 draw.
Bright Stars JT are 4th on the table with only a point ahead of our boys another reason to give them the energy to perform better and move up the table.
The visitors have scored 10 goals only table leaders Mbarara City JT and Kirinya Jinja SSS JT have scored more. The Red Eagles have scored only 4 goals and conceded 5 in a league where a win with a difference of two goals gives you an extra points.
The visitors have conceded 9 goals level with Villa JT, only Nyamityobora has conceded more with 18.
The visitors will rely on their top marksman Shafic Kakande who has scored 4 goals third on the top scorers log behind Sadat Anaku (KCCA JT) and Lawrence Tezikya (Kirinya Jinja SSS JT)
The Eaglets will rely on their striker Ismael Sebandeke who scored the winner against Nyamityobora and a penalty at Njeru against BUL FC JT. His namesake Eddie Sebandeke has been also creating an impact despite coming from the bench. He scored a freekick to give us a point against BUL and was involved in the goal against Nyamityobora.
The Red Eaglets may not be with their attacker Brian Bella but welcome back Hasad Kato who received a red card against Nyamityobora.
With the Red Eagles playing against Bright Stars in the UPL on Tuesday 13th November at Mwererwe it will be a very good precursor for the Eaglets to win going into that more significant fixture on Tuesday.
