The club has today confirmed the acquisition of experienced center back Derrick “Kingo” Ngoobi on a two year deal.

The diligent 24 year old defender comes in to reinforce in the backline after the departure of Murushid Juuko, Deus Bukenya and the likes.

“I come with experience to the young Express FC squad, I am delighted to be here the environment is good and I am looking forward to winning trophies with the team, be part of it’s history and I promise the fans a great game.”

Ngoobi told the club website.

“We are delighted to have added a player with the experience in Derrick to the squad, we lost a number of defensive players thus need of more firpower at backline and he (Ngoobi) has those characters that will help us bridge that gap.”

The Head coach James Odoch told the club website.

Kingo previously featured at Bulemeezi Ssaza team, Kikyuusa and Luwero United before joining Bright Stars. At Soltilo Bright Stars FC, four(4) years in he managed 116 appearances, scoring 5 goals and assisting 1 goal.
