We’re delighted to announce the extension of Daniel Kiwanuka’s contract with the club for another year, the decision came about after the board recognised the former Uganda Cranes International’s good work during the past two years as the goalking coach.

Daniel Kiwanuka managed to groom and mold the club’s goalkeepers to the best level among these Denis Otim who has been called to the national team.

“I am happy to have extended my contract with Express for another year. I have been here for a short time yet the goalkeepers we have are still young, that inspired me to remain and improve them into the country’s next stars. The fans should expect the best performance from the goalkeepers this season.”

Daniel Kiwanuka told the club website.

“Of course Daniel Kiwanuka is one of the best if not the best goalkeeping coach in the country, this has been evident in his work for the past two years and how he has developed the goalkeepers. We expect this to continue and we have full confidence in his abilities.”

Daniel Kiwanuka stepped in as the club’s assistant coach last season after James Odoch was given interim Head Coach role after Wasswa Bbosa’s departure. Denis Otim and David Lukwago will be among the goalkeepers he will be working with this season.
