Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa is now certainly past the celebratory mood despite recently leading the club to a seventh league title.

The Gaffer who is focusing on assembling a competitive squad for the coming season which will see Express FC play continental football for the first time since 2008 has stated that the technical team is doing the necessary adjustments to have a competitive squad for the new campaign.

“The technical team is tirelessly working behind the scenes to have a competitive team for next season that i can comfirm, as league champions we need to make the right decisions of who comes in and who leaves because we have a bumper schedule ahead and so far so good, when the time is right we shall definitely let the world know” He added.

About the player’s training schedule during the lockdown, the gaffer stressed that the strength and conditioning coach Helen Buteme is doing a fantastic job to keep the players fit.

“I am certain you’ve come across various videos of players training on their different social media platforms, Helen is doing an amazing job and i am sure by the time the lockdown is lifted (if it is) the players will have made great strides.”

The Red Eagles will not only play continental football but also feature in the CECAFA Kagame Cup (TBC) and the new Uganda Premier League season.
