They don’t come many as hardworking and focused like Murushid Juuko. The Express FC marquee signing who joined at the start of the season is surely bracing up for the league restart.

Speaking after the players returned from the christmas break to resume training, Juuko was positive the squad is more focused than ever.

“Am glad most of my mates returned in good health, now we need to catch up fast because we’ve got alot coming. Personally i am happy with how I’ve performed in the four games played so far and as team, we’ve managed to improve in each game” He stated.

Asked about how he’s coped with different options at the back, Murushid revealed every player he partners with is capable of doing the job.

“So far I’ve managed to play alongside Enock Walusimbi and Isa Lumu but i can ascertain that both are capable” He concluded.

Skipper Enock Walusimbi started out partnering with Juuko on match day one away against Onduparaka in Arua but was sent off and in came Isa Lumu who has since formed a solid partnership while the captain Walusimbi was moved to right back.

The six time league champions who sit sixth on the 16 team log after four games played are also unbeaten and hope to continue the run when the league resumes in February.
