Express FC Secure Defensive Midfield Kingpin Byamukama John

Express FC have on Tuesday 15th September 2020 secured the services of defensive midfielder Byamukama John who joins from Tooro United.

The 23 year old has penned a two year deal with the club which also reunites him with head coach Wasswa Bossa. Byamukama was swept away with the fact that he’s now a Red Eagle.

“We all know Express FC is a historical club, I have joined the club to win titles and as a defensive midfielder, my role is to protect the back four which I’ll gladly do when given the opportunity”

The soft spoken anchor man stated after putting pen to paper.

“Tooky” like he’s fondly known by his mates has spent two seasons at Tooro United, the 2018/19 season saw him managing two assists and a goal in 15 games but that changed a season later adding three more games where he managed four assists and two goals.

Byamukama becomes the second holding midfielder to sign up after Isaac Nsengiyunva and he’s also coach Wasswa Bossa’s eleventh signing for the next season.

Head coach Wasswa Bossa will now have two holding midfielders at his disposal after the departures of Denis Sserukwaya and Lawrence Kigonya aka Pantaleo.
