The Red Eagles are back in action on Tuesday 29th against Tooro United away in Buhinga Stadium – Fort Portal where the western Uganda side former Soana FC has not lost a game.

We talked to new Express signing Brian Umony about the game and below are his thoughts.

On how they are prepared for the game as a team….

I’m very sure it’s not going to be an easy game it’s an away game and a league game. You can not underestimate any team in this league but of course we want to go out and win we are a big club with a big following which expect us to win without putting pressure on the boys we want to win this game on Tuesday.

On when he last played competitive football….

I played for an Indian club Fulakam FC six months ago I have been training with KCCA FC and Proline to try to keep up my fitness levels. I know what it takes and I’m working extremely hard because my task is to give 120% or more than 100 for this club so mine is to prepare properly going into this game.

On how many training sessions he has got involved in since signing on Friday….

I have had two training sessions with the club I have had a wonderful time the boys are very talented the team is good it’s led by a very very good coach and I know we must stick to the game plan the coach has to come back with three points.

On whether he will need sometime to gel or he will hit the ground running….

I want to hit the ground running there is no time but of course my fitness levels will have to decide whether I will play or no because I don’t decide whether I should be on the pitch or no.

On how many goals we should expect…

Like I said I give my self a target I can’t say in this coming game or the other but of course the plan. The coaches haven’t picked the team yet so I don’t know whether I will be involved but the plan is given any chance I want to score
