We Have Trained Well And Only Waiting For Kick off – Mutanga

Express are back in action on Tuesday against KCCA at Wankulukuku.

We caught up with our assistant captain Isaac Mutanga and here’s what he says on the game.

Express v KCCA | Uganda Premier League | The Betway Mutesa II Stadium – Wankulukuku | Tuesday 11th December | Kick off 4:00pm

On tomorrow’s game…

We are ready for the game, we have trained well and only waiting for the kick off

On the pressure after going four games without a win….

We have the pressure more than anyone else because when we lose we feel so bad but as the saying goes, ‘you can’t cry for spilt milk’, so we just have to be ready for the next game. We can’t spend a lot of time on that because most of the boys are young so we don’t want them to lose moral we just have to encourage them, stay united and get ready for the next games because the wins will come, what I know is that tomorrow we are set and we shall get a result.

On facing a side top of the table and unbeaten…

We are going to be the first team to beat them. We are not scared of that.

To the fans…

Let’s them come strong we shall win games. Let them be together with us and not kill our moral. It’s bad to lose games but to abuse your own players is worse and totally kills their moral. I am requesting our fans that you are the ones who give us energy and at the same time take it away, the way some boys were treated in Jinja isn’t good and may negatively affect their performance in games were we need them. I’m requesting fans let’s be together and help Express, let them trust us we shall do it.
