We Have To Stand Up And Get Back To Winning Ways – Kisala

The Red Eagles are visiting Kirinya Jinja SSS FC on Saturday at The Mighty Arena in Jinja SSS in a game which is so influential to both team however with a tough run of fixtures for the Reds this is a fixture they should go all out for to give them a boost.

We caught up with the head coach Kefa Kisala and this is what he had to say about the tie.

On the game against Kirinya Jinja SSS generally….

We have a game against Kirinya Jinja SSS which is not an easy game, they are having a run which is not good like us we lost our game so we have to stand up but we are ready though we have some injured players.

Kigundu isn’t available, captain Julius Ntambi is suspended, Ruben Paul Kabuye also not available but we registered 25 players so we have the numbers and depth to replace those injured we prepared ourselves knowing this is a marathon and people have to get injured so we have a good squad which can compete and get result and tomorrow we shall be doing the same.

On the coming back of Pius Mbidde….

It is good he came back he will be a big boost to our midfield. If such a player who has been in the squad all the time comes back its a big boost. At the end of the day I’m certain we shall win the game on Saturday

On the coming back of Tony Kyamera from exams….

We congratulate him, we are happy for him and we are happy he is back at his job as I said earlier that we have a big squad with quality and someone who replaces the other the difference isn’t too big and we prepare the players according to the tasks ahead.

On being worried of Madondo…

No, I’m not at all worried of any player. Ugandan players are similar. He has six goals but he has been there for so long so he has spent a lot of time without scoring so I’m not worried at all

On the pressure to get back to winning ways…

If you don’t have the pressure then you don’t need to be in the league. The pressure is always there but how to handle it is the most important thing

On team news….

As I said earlier, Mbidde is back, we miss: Arthur, Ruben and Ntambi who is suspended. That’s the news we have.
