We have the fans’ interests at heart – Chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka speaks out.
He rarely speaks but when he does #ExpressNation listens, club Chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka has opened up on what seems to have worried fans ahead of the new season.
The chairman who first thanked the fans for keeping safe and following the Ministry of health guidelines on fighting Covid-19 calmed fans fears and assured them the team will bounce back stronger than ever.
“I firstly want to thank the fans for staying safe and following the Ministry of health guidelines, I also want to assure the fans that the board are fully behind the C.E.O and the technical team who are doing a tremendous job” Kiwanuka told the club website before adding,
“The fans should kindly trust the process, we are going to come back stronger and better, I urge them to attend matches in large numbers because the players need their support” he concluded.
Express FC finished 9th last season under Wasswa Bossa who had replaced former skipper George Ssimwogere at the tailor end of last season but going forward the team clearly is chasing the elusive seventh league title.
