Revita against KCCA at Wankulukuku

On Sunday’s game…

It is not going to be an easy game because we miss crucial players but we trust the traveling players and we shall come back with a win because the boys are determined and are ready to give their all so that we come back with a win.

On whether he has ever played in the Uganda Cup

No, I have never.

How do you feel playing your first ever Uganda Cup game?

It feels good because I’m adding something special on my CV playing in such high profile competitions in the country and I’m hoping for a win despite being my first game.

On the pressure going into a knock out game…

Pressure is of course there. Express is a big team and its the first game so pressure is there but the players can handle because of the way the coaches are training us to handle it but the pressure is there and Express as a big team you always have to keep it at the top.

On his playing in defense despite many knowing him as a midfielder and his adaptation in the position…

Actually I was a defender and coach Pius knows me well when I was playing in the regional leagues I was playing defense but when I went to Congo with Isaac (Mutanga) I adjusted to midfield, I played two seasons there with Bukavu Dawa playing in midfield, when I came here I continued playing midfield but when the coach asked me to play defense it was easy because he knew me and he knew I could do it so it’s easy.

On going to penalties…

Penalties! The truth is that we should kill off the game in 90 minutes because when it goes to penalties any team can win but when they come we have to concentrate a lot to win them.

The Red Eagles have won the Uganda Cup 10 times, a record for the competition and we last won it in 2007 after beating current champions KCCA 4-2 on penalties. The 90 minutes ended 0-0.
