Wasswa Bbosa Confirmed As Express Head Coach
The club has confirmed coach Bbosa as the head coach on a 3-year deal replacing fellow club legend George Ssimwogerere.
Bbosa earlier took over as an interim coach after the club parted ways with Ssimwogerere. He managed 5 UPL games, winning 3, drawing 1 and losing 1 to URA FC at Wankulukuku.
In the 5 games, coach Bbosa secured our first win away at Onduparaka and our very first win in all competitions against the Westnile side.
In the Uganda cup he managed 1 game against maroons losing 3-4 on penalties after a three-all draw at Kavumba in the 90 minutes.
He managed to secure our UPL status which looked under threat before he rejoined the club and finished 9th with 31 points from 25 games before the league was stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We wish coach Bbosa the best in his new stint as Express Football Club head coach.
