Coach Ssimwogerere will lead his charges against Bright Stars for the second time in 4 days after a 1-all draw at Mwererwe on Sunday.

We talked to him before the game and below is what he said.

On the game….

We are ready for the game although we have some injured players like Arthur Kiggundu, Kambale and Mutanga are both not yet back but we have credible replacements and the boys also need the game, it’s very important because they will give 100%

On Umony and Badru Nsubuga who got knocks against Bright Stars on Sunday…

They have recovered well, Umony it was just a simple scare so I substituted him as a precaution and Badru got a small knock. So they will be available.

On whether we got some lessons from the previous game against Bright Stars…

We saw how they play and where their strength is, we are also going to use this game to prepare for the coming game (Stanbic Uganda Cup Semifinal Second leg) on Thursday 9th.

On whether we still have a lot to do in the league…

You can not say that we shall not give our best because we are playing in Uganda Cup. We need every game so tomorrow’s game is the same as any game we have played this season.

On whether we should expect the hardworking midfield trio of Mayanja, Badru and Mbidde…

We shall see what to do with them I’m trying to protect them to see that they are fit by resting them as I build others to play what we need it’s not good to rely on a few players others also have to do what I want them to do.
