Express humbles Regional side Wembley 4-1 in a trial match.

The Red Eagles continue their preparations for the season and on Saturday morning they met Kampala Regional side Wembley coming out as 4-1 winners. A relatively second string Express side missining seasoned stars like Tony Odur, Michael Birungi, Shafik Kakeeto, Isaac Mutanga, Julius Ntambi and others managed to make light work of the lower tier side.
Express having three stars from Wembley in, Mubarak Nsubuga, Badru Nsubuga and Ruben Kabuye all sat of the game due to knocks sustained from the 2-1 loss to Police on Wednesday.
Express took and early lead through Eric Kambale’s header which he has come accustomed to having scored many including the second goal against Wakiso Giants in Wakiso then Male Joel added a superb strike from way out side the 18-yards box for the first half to end 2-0.
The second half saw Express coach introduce youngster Billy Nkata who was a constant thorn in the flesh of the visiting side.
Wembley showed some signs of a come back at the beginning of the second half pulling one back after some lapse of defending where Disan Galiwango’s header landed on a Wembley attack to beat Kyamera from the far corner but the Red Eagles adjusted to the second gear and added the third.
Trialist Michael Male added a third with a nice long ranger to the delight of the technical team in his first trial match and showed a lot of glimpses of genius with his dribbling, short and long passing as well as bringing his fellow teammates into play. Then youngster Billy Nkata who was having a good game also struck from long range deep in the second half to seal the win in comfortable style.
