Express earn wakiso giants their First ever home loss.
The Red Eagles beat Big League side Wakiso Giants 2-1 in their first ever home game at their Wakiso home ground at Wakisha Resource Centre.
The game started brightly with both teams attacking well and exchanging nice shot passes much to the cheers of the crowds in the stands. However Express which had most portion of the fans took the lead in the first half through on-form leftsided midfielder Ruben Kabuye after some nice work between Ibrahim Kayiwa and Birungi the latter laying a nice pass for Kabuye to control and shoot to score before being closed down by Wakiso defence beating former Red Eagle Manisoor Mutumba in goal for Wakiso Giants.

The Red Eagles again came blazing in the second half with with exciting midfielder Jalil Zimula playing on the left flank crossing for Eric Kambale whose header beat the Wakiso Giants keeper and markers to score the second with his trademark headers.
Wakiso pushed hard for at least a goal but Express defended superbly to deny them. Later in the 70th minute Wakiso Giants got a goal through Karim Ndugwa after Abdul Karim Kasule’s cross beat our defence and fell to him using his experience to burry it in the net.
The game ended 2-1 in favour of Express handing Wakiso Giants their first ever home defeat in their history.
