#StanbicUgandaCup Quarter Final | Express v BUL | 5 Things To Look Out For
The Red Eagles are back in Uganda cup action with a lot of positives most especially coming from the treatment room. Coach Sim will have plenty of options going into this very important match.

Here are the five things to look out for:
The Return of Eric Kambale.
The striker has been severely missed upfront after being our for up to two months due to a hamstring injury. The Red Eagles have only scored two Uganda cup goals in two games scored by Kayiwa and Odur against Water when the striker was out injured. He comes back to partner Odur and Umony who have been the fit strikers at the club. Ocholit has not been used since starting his first game against Tooro United in Buhinga.
Kambale may start after missing out the game against Mbarara City due to lack of match fitness.
We wait to see how his long awaited comeback positively affect the Red Eagles in a must win game.
Captain Isaac Mutanga comes back from sickness.
The captain was ruled out against Mbarara City due to sickness on the last minute before the start of the game. Pius Mbidde replaced him in the starting 11 and did a tremendous job to keep Mbarara City most treasured player Paul Mucureezi at bay.
The captain returning the Red Eagles will have the much needed leadership on the pitch and invaluable experience. The coach will also have more options in defense and defensive midfield since he can play in both positions.
Red Eagles Pedigree!
The Red Eagles have won the Uganda Cup a record 10 times, among the 8 quarter finalists only Vipers has tested victory as far as the competition which was first played in 1971 is concerned. The Venoms have won it only once.
On Monday the Red Eagles will face a side which has never won the competition BUL FC at home and odds will be on their side to edge the tie in front of their faithfuls.
Abdul Mayanja returns to Wankulukuku
The experienced defender played right back for Express under coach Wasswa Bbosa in a famous defense comprising of him, Isma Kazibwe in left back, Bob Kasozi and Henry Katongole in central defense. On Monday he will come back to his former home as BUL captain with the Uganda cup semi final on the line. He has not been a permanent member of the starting 11 this season but he will offer them the much needed experience on a ground he is well used to.
Will Physical BUL Pose a Threat?
Peter Onen has put together a very physical side from defense to the striking line. Against them in Njeru we struggled a little bit at the beginning and barely won any tackles on an artificial turf until we grew in the game and started marching them. Hamis Tibita, Muhindo Kambale are all big men and a threat to defenders. Against them on Monday we have to be braced for 90 minutes and extra time if possible of a pure battle of men which the Red Eagles must come out from on top to qualify for the semifinals.
The game will kick off at 3pm not the usual 4pm due to the prospect of playing extra time in case of a draw and penalties.
