Riders Lounge Hosts Express FC Women To A Luncheon.
InternationalWomen’s day is celebrated world wide but Express FC women had a special treat organized by club partner Riders Lounge Uganda.

The ladies squad led by senior club administrator Patricia Ayebare were hosted at the Riders Lounge Entebbe as they wined and dinned away the holiday and for Ayebare, such events are key in encouraging all the women at the club and also appreciating them for the work at the club.

“This is a very fantastic initiative, I’d like to appreciate Riders Lounge for hosting us (Express FC ladies) in Entebbe, for me it says alot about the club, that 1. Women are pivotal in the day to day running of the club, 2. That the CEO and the board appreciate our efforts towards the club and so it’s a really good gesture” She said before adding,

As for Riders, this is a start to a fruitful marriage, we hope to keep this partnership going and try and achieve bigger”.

Club CEO Isaac Mwesigwa re-echoed the need to do such events more often as they strengthen the bond amongst staff which in turn helps the club perform better.

“The club thinks this should done more often, only that we have alot of engagements that require us to be hands on, I’d like to emphasize that the club has the best women doing a perfect job, from Helen and Emma (S&G coach) to Trish, Aminah etc. and the sky can only be the limit, I also want to thank Riders Lounge for a good job done, going forward, this is certainly going to be a good marriage”.

The Red Eagles sit top of the log, a point clear of second placed Vipers S.C. Next up is an away trip to Bombo on Tuesday 9th March to face UPDF FC.
