Richard Bbosa ready to impress at U20 AFCON after call up.

Express FC defender Richard Bbosa is back in the big time following his call up to the Uganda Hippos, the U 20 squad that is preparing for the U-20 AFCON tournament.

The soft spoken defender who helped guide Moley Byekwaso’s charges to the showpiece qualification in Tanzania has expressed his delight towards the development stating that the target remains winning the showpiece.

Richard Bbosa made his Express debut against Mbarara City.

“As a player i am glad that the head coach (Moley Byekwaso) has trusted me again by summoning me and to be honest am ready to create impact but as a team, we all promised each other that we must win the title and am sure we have the right players to do it, I know we’re going to face well prepared teams but we’re more focused and determined” He stated.

Comfortable as a centre back, Bbosa who can also play as a right back and a holding midfielder as was the case on match day two in the 1 – 1 draw away to Mbarara City when he came on for Daniel Shabene will provide a number of options to the technical team.

Richard Bbosa eager to learn from experienced squad members.

Bbosa and 37 others led by head coach Morley Byekwaso will be tasked with helping the Uganda Hippos win their first U-20 AFCON title at the first time of asking when the showpiece kickoffs on 14th February in Mauritania.
