Richard Bbosa Excited About Making Final Uganda Hippos Squad.

Hard work surely bares fruit as is the case with Express FC right back Richard Bbosa.

The 20 year old versatile young defender who joined the Red Eagles from academy side Super Cubs made the final 20-man Uganda Hippos squad that will play in the upcoming CECAFA U-20 Championship in Tanzania and has expressed his readiness to make it count.

“It’s always been my dream to represent my country at any level, I thank the coach for trusting me and my other teammates and the only way we can pay him back is by performing well, I promise I’ll do whatever it takes to win” He revealed.

The tournament will kick off on Monday 23rd November and will be played up to 6th December.

The winner of the tournament will represent the CECAFA region in the AFCON U-20 Championship which will be played in 2021.

Uganda who traveled to Dar-es-salaam on Friday 20th November are in Group B along with South Sudan, Burundi and Eriteria. The host country Tanzania are the defending champions.

The team is under the tutelage of former Express midfield gem Morley Byekwaso.

Defenders: Richard Bbosa, Abdu Aziizi Kayondo, Musa Ramathan, Gavin Kizito Mugweri, Kenneth Ssemakula, Joseph Kafumbe

Midfielders: Isma Mugulusi,  Steven Sserwadda, Joseph Kizza Bukenya, Ivan Asaba, Yiga Najib, Ashiraf Mulindi, Bobosi Byaruhanga, Alpha Thierry Ssali

Forwards: Ivan Bogere, Richard Basangwa, Faisal Wabyoona, Raymond Onyai.
