The moment of truth has finally come, Express FC kickstart their league campaign away to Onduparaka at the Green Light stadium in Arua on Saturday 5th December 2020.

Just as was the case in the previous meeting at the same venue, the target couldn’t be any different with assistant coach James Odoch retaliating that getting maximum points will be key.
“Last season we won against Onduparaka although it was a tight game however we’ve been working extremely hard for it and we are sure the boys are ready to win the game and our target for the new season is to compete for the trophy.” He stated before adding that the last four months have helped the technical team know the new players better.
“We’ve recruited a number of new players but we have been with them long enough to know their abilities and we have prepared them to bond and deliver results.” He concluded.

Midfeilder Abel Etrude also spoke out on the team preps stating the players’ mental and physical shape is top notch.
“As a team we’ve had a very good preseason so much so that we’re mentally and physically prepared for the season.”
On the readiness of the team We’re readily prepared as a team, Onduparaka is a good team but we’re ready to get maximum points.”

Head coach Wasswa Bossa has a full squad to pick from save for midfielder Mahad Yaya Kakooza who is nursing a knee injury.
