League champions Express FC continue to boost their squad ahead of the new season but specifically for the upcoming CECAFA Kagame Cup with the arrival of left footed winger Joseph Akandwanaho.

The pacy left-footed winger has signed a two-year contract and joins from Soltilo Bright Stars. Akandwanaho brings with him pace in attack and also his ability to create assists and score goals can’t go unnoticed.

The 26-year-old registered eight league goals and six assists in as many games last season with Soltilo Bright Stars. “AJ” adds he is very excited about joining a club like Express FC and can’t wait to get started.

Akandanwaho has featured for Nyamityobora as well and head coach Wasswa Bbosa will surely have options on the flanks. He also becomes the second signing after goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa was unveiled earlier on Wednesday.
