Express FC centre back Murushid Juuko is back in the Cranes fold.

The experienced defender has been included in the local based squad for the upcoming AFCON 2021 Qualifier against South Sudan.

The national team head coach Jonathan Mckinstry revealed the local based players have been given an opportunity to make the final squad ahead of the qualifier with only five local based players to be selected from the 22 man list released.

“I am happy to return to the national team, I hold the same desire of helping the team get maximum points and hopefully we shall” Juuko stated.

The Uganda Cranes face South Sudan on 12th November 2020 at St. Mary’s stadium Kitende before flying to Nairobi for the return leg on 16th November.
