MATCH REPORT: TEN MAN RED EAGLES SOAR OVER U.R.A F.C.
Express FC completed a league double over table leaders U.R.A FC with a 3 – 1 win at the Betway Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku on Saturday evening.

Pacey winger Godfrey Lwesibawa scored once while forward Erick Kambale notched a brace. Steven Mukwala Desse got the visitors’ consolation from 12 yards.

The hosts came out of the blocks fast mostly using flanks and debutant Kizza Martin was the architect, winning the ball and releasing Charles Musiige whose mezzy run on the left and cross was perfect for Godfrey Lwesibwa to meet on the far post and head home to give the hosts the lead after 11 minutes.

Martin Kizza was at it again on the left flank stepping over as he made his way into the box but was fouled and centre referee Ali Sabila called for a freekick in the 17th minute, up stepped Kizza whose well delivered freekick found Erick Kambale’s head who calmly made it 2 – 0 and also register his fourth of the season.

Martin Kizza had one more up his sleeve with seven minutes to the break, his sleek moves saw him weave through the URA FC defence only to be fouled in the forbidden area leaving centre ref Ali Sabila with no option but to point to the spot.

Erick Kambale stepped up and made it 3 – 0, picking up his fifth of the season.
After the break, URA FC came all out and it paid off, first nine minutes into the second half centre back Murushid Juuko was sent for an early shower for a second bookable offence after he pulled URA FC’s Joackim Ojera on the left flank leaving the Red Eagles a man less for the entire second period.

Five minutes later, Erick Kambale was adjourned to have handled the ball in the forbidden area with Ali Sabilia pointing to the spot, Steven Mukwala stepped up and scored the consolation.
Wasswa Bossa’s charges managed to play safe and earn the maximum points.
