MATCH REPORT : Red Eagles Sore Higher With Third Away Win Against MYDA FC.
Red hot Express FC kept their StarTimes Uganda premier league unbeaten run intact with a convincing 4 – 1 win away to newly promoted side MYDA FC on Tuesday evening at the King George IV Memorial stadium.
Forward George Senkaaba and winger Godfrey Lwesibawa each notched a brace to ensure a 3rd away win for Wassa Bossa’s charges. Eric Mutebi got the hosts’ consolation.

Like is the norm, The lads started out well looking for the opener and it was not long before the hard working Eric Kambaale found space to place a through ball for Goerge Senkaaba who slotted home in the 22nd minute to give Express FC the lead which literally summed up the first period.
After recess, the hosts seemed to build from the back as they tried to get back into the game but Express FC patiently waited to catch them on a break, thirteen minutes in, Godfrey Lwesibawa’s mezzy run on the right after connecting with Charles Musiige saw him loop the MYDA’s goalkeeper Osikol Isaac to double the lead.

Two minutes later George Senkaaba capitalized on an Enock Walusimbi assist to knock off a defender and calmly slotted home to make it 3 – 0, also his second on the day and his fifth of the season.
The Red Eagles weren’t done yet, Winger Godfrey Lwesibawa pounced on another cheeky lob from substitute Kayiwa Ibrahim to make it 4 – 0 with 10 minutes to go but just when it seemed like Mathias Muwanga was in line to register a fourth clean sheet, center back Issa Lumu fouled in the air as he tried to clear an aerial ball, a penalty was awarded and Eric Mutebi stepped up and scored the consolation in added time.
