MATCH PREVIEW | Express FC Out To Claim Derby Bragging Rights Against S.C Villa.

Uganda’s historical and oldest club rivalry takes center stage this saturday 19th December when we take on our perennial rivals S.C Villa.

With 22 league titles between them, the Express FC – S.C Villa fixture has always been a sharp divider in Ugandan football for time immemorial and the latest meeting which comes on match day 5 finds the Red Eagles in pursuit for a second league win of the season.

“We’ve been working on our finishing which i felt was lacking when we played against Mbarara City. We know how big a game this is but the players know that the target is a win but we respect Villa because they’re a decent side” He stated.

Club captain Enock Walusimbi who returns from suspension after serving a 3 match ban for.a send off against Onduparaka on match day one has re-echoed the need to win the derby.
