Kevin Ssekimbegga and the Cubs reach safely in Dar for the AFCON U17 Finals

The Express Junior Team right back is one of the 21 players who traveled to represent Uganda in the Africa Cup of Nations Under 17 tournament which will take place in Tanzania from 14th – 28th April.

Ssekimbegga and the Cubs are in group A with host Tanzania, Angola and Nigeria. They will kick off the tournament on 14th with Angola before playing Tanzania on Wednesday 17th and Nigeria on 20th April.

The top two teams in the group will qualify for U17 World Cup which will take place in Brazil.

The youngsters are accommodated at Peacock Hotel in Dar es Salaam.
