John Byamukama Focused On Sealing A Starting Berth.
John Byamukama is best described as a jovial character in the Express FC dressing room, the ever talkative midfielder is one of 19 new faces that joined Wasswa Bossa’s charges at the start of this season from Tooro United.
The self proclaimed “Prince of Tooro” aka “Tooki” has managed three appearances in the four league outings played so far and acknowledges the level of competition at Wankulukuku is up there but he’s ready to prove himself.

“I have settled in well with the team since I arrived, the competition is stiff in the team but it’s healthy and we all appreciate it although as an individual, I’ve always wanted to be a starter in the team and with the hard work am putting in am sure I will when the season resumes in Feburary, that said, we work as team and I am always ready to help whenever I am called upon” He said.
The 23 year old’s three league appearances have seen him come off the bench, He came on for Denis Mubuya on match day one away in Arua, He also replaced Charles Musiige on match day two against Bright Stars before his last substitute appearance against S.C Villa for Abel Etrude.

“Tooki” will battle it out for a starting berth with Abel Etrude in the holding role when the Wasswa Bossa’s charges host Vipers SC on 9th February 2021 at the Betway Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.
Express FC who sit sixth on the log after four outings are six time league winners with the last title coming in 2012 a feat Wasswa Bossa would want to repeat after a seven year hiatus.
