It was a tough game – Coach Sim
The Red Eagles lost 2-0 to Vipers at Kitende. This was coach Sim’s second loss since rejoining the club last month.
We talked to him after the game and below are his thoughts.
On the game ….
It was a tough game I had very many injured players I had to replace them with others. We shall go rectify the mistakes and come back stronger.
On where he lost the game…
First of all they are playing at home on an artificial tough which is tough to play on and we had injuries of course.
On conceding early…
It’s bad because it disorganizes you but all in all we came back strong to attack and try to find a breakthrough so sometimes it happens.
On struggling going forward…
I don’t think we are struggling that’s our philosophy we start from behind and go in front as we build up. It’s my first time to play here and some of my players yet they train here. So we could not run with them but tried to much them.
On whether his second half changes had an impact…
We struggled in the first half with players out of position so we had to make early changes and brought on Sadiq Ssekyembe. He is young and did a fantastic job. I’m proud of him. Odur I have nothing to say you all know him.
