New club captain Enock Walusimbi is one of a kind with this composure and calm physique even when taking a match winning penalty in a cup final.

Such was the composure even when “Lucio” got to know the news about his appointment as the club captain by the technical team.

“I got to know just before my afternoon training session on Tuesday, It’s an honor and privilege to lead this historic club and I’ll repay the faith entrusted in me” Walusimbi stated before adding,

“I know the arm band and badge come with alot of expectations especially from the fans but I’d like to confirm that I along with my teammates are ready for the challenge and we’re positive we shall bring back the club’s past glory” He concluded.

The 22 year old will be deputized by goal minder Mathias Muwanga and youngster Desmond Kaneene.

Walusimbi has wore the armband at most of his previous clubs with Bright Stars being his last outing where he featured for three seasons leading them to the 2019 Uganda Cup finals which they lost to Proline FC in post match penalties.

The six time league champions are chasing the elusive seventh league which was last won in 2012.
