I Am Targeting The Golden Boot – Frank Kalanda.

Forwards world over in football live for moments like what Express FC forward Frank Kalanda is experiencing.

The burly forward has found the net in two straight games, the 1-1 draw away in Arua against Onduparaka on match day one and the 2-1 win at home to Soltilo Bright Stars which was also Wasswa Bossa’s first home victory. “Machete” like he’s fondly known says he’s happy he’s hit the ground running and that his target is to hit double figures even better than last season.

“I want to thank God for the opportunity of being able to score in two straight games, am focusing and am working hard towards being the top scorer this season” He stated.

Kalanda managed 11 goals across all competitions for the Red Eagles last season and with a support system of Mustafa Kiragga and Eric Kambaale it’s evident the Cranes marksman can go past last season’s feat.

Wasswa Bossa’s charges travel to Mbarara to face the Ankole Lions on Wednesday 16th November before returning to face arch rivals S.C Villa in the Kampala derby.
