Godfrey Lwesibawa Focused On Perfecting Dead Ball Situations.

Very few players in the Uganda Premier League have the ability to make good of a dead ball situation and those who do like winger Godfrey Lwesibawa, perfecting the act better is the target.

The 24 year old who rejoined the Red Eagles at the start of the season has delivered twice from freekicks and on both occasions helped Wasssa Bossa’s side take the lead. In the 1-1 draw away to Mbarara City, Lwesibawa’s freekick from 30 yards opened the scoring which was the same case on match day five in the 1-1 draw at home against Vipers SC and the pacey winger says the target is to perfect dead ball situations even better.

“I am happy that sofar I’ve managed to score two goals from freekicks, honestly you need alot of concentration and technique to do it and in some instances there’s abit of distance from goal but I’ll keep going for them, my target is to perfect it more so that my conversation rate is high, it’s achievable” he stated before adding,

“I also want to thank my teammates for trusting me, we all wanted to win the game (Vs Vipers) but we take the point, we shall return to the drawing board and plot for a win in the next game (away to URA)” He concluded.

Express FC have scored six league goals in the five games played sofar and Godfrey Lwesibawa has managed two of those while Frank Kalanda (3) and Erick Kambaale (1) have score the rest respectively.

The 1-1 draw on Tuesday 9th February places the Red Eagles 7th on the log three behind their next opponents in U.R.A FC. who sit 3rd on the table.
