George Senkaaba Relishing His “Big Moments” As They Last.

Two match winners in a space of a month or so against S.C Villa and U.R.A FC is no mean feat for a player like George Senkaaba who has had to earn his spot on the starting team.

Senkaaba gives thanks and praises after notching his second of the season.

Senkaaba who has now scored twice in six league games but managing one start in all scored match winners against arch rivals S.C Villa on 19th December and on Sunday 14th February away to URA FC a feat he says he’s enjoying as it lasts.

Senkaaba came off the bench to score an excellent winner against S.C. Villa.

“I am extremely proud of my hard work because it’s paying off, I however credit my teammates for the cohesion we have because it’s really helped us to win as a team. As for the big moments, any player and a forward at that would want to step up on big occasions and I am glad I am doing so and going forward, I hope to continue the streak because forwards are only considered when scoring goals” he stated.

Both Senkaaba’s strikes have come with 3 points and clean sheets and against big boys Villa and URA. The new Express cult hero?

Nicknamed “Junior Agogo”, Senkaaba has perfected the art of playing as a lone forward, easily winning ariel battles and calmly holding the ball from the opposition before passing to fellow teammates something not many forwards possess in Ugandan football.

Senkaaba (R) started for the first time and scored the winner against URA.

The Red Eagles next face KCCA FC on Wednesday 17th February at the Betway Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku, Wasswa Bossa who has guided the side to 4th spot after six match days is chasing the elusive 7th league title which was last won in 2012.
