Frank Kalanda keen on exceeding last season’s performance.
Frank Kalanda means business anyday, “Machete” like he’s fondly called by his peers has been the club’s top maxman since joining the Red Eagles in August 2019.
Kalanda managed twelve league goals and two assists across all competitions last season and can’t wait to start from where he stopped when the new campaign kickstarts in October.
“I worked hard last season but not hard enough and although as a team we weren’t happy with our league finish I think we have no excuse next season because we have to perform better” Kalanda told the club website.
With Wasswa Bossa working tirelessly behind the scenes to have a competitive team, Kalanda says he is ready to work with whoever joins the squad as a unit in order to compete favorably.
“The team will definitely have new faces but I want to assure the fans that we’re ready to work as a unit and compete. This will be a different side next season” Kalanda added.
The Uganda Premier League is set to resume on 17th October and having finished a distant 9th, the entire playing squad is surely targeting a top three finish.
