
Frank Kalanda Happy With The Quality Of New Recruits, Sets Personal Targets.
The new Uganda Premier League season is a few weeks away and just like other clubs, Express FC has stepped up preparations bringing in nine new players.
All the nine new recruits play different positions and the club’s top goal scorer last season Frank Kalanda has spoken out crediting the technical team for a good job done in the recruitment process.
“I think the technical team has spotted the good players and they’re capable of handling the pressure because this is a big club, we welcome them and assure them that we shall help them adjust accordingly to help the club perform well” Kalanda revealed.

The 29-year-old has also set personal targets ahead of the new season insisting a return to the Cranes fold by doubling last season’s digits is a priority.
“Am happy about last season’s performance which was down to teamwork but for this coming campaign, I want to return to the Cranes fold and i can only do that by scoring more goals which am sure of doing” He concluded.
“Machete” who called upon the fans to support the club managed 11 goals in 23 games along with two assists as the club finished 9th a feat Wasswa Bossa wants to change next season.
